  • Acquired Innovative Health Systems (IHS).

  • Launched ChartScriptMD™ — allows physicians to create and dictate documents using a PC.
  • Formed a Technical Consulting Group to help customers analyze and enhance their networks and HIM computing environment.

  • Introduced ChartView® — accesses electronic medical records online.

  • Along with IHS, became an allied partner of Shared Medical Systems Corporation (SMS).
  • Added HomeScript™ to the ChartScript® product suite to support home-based transcriptionists.
  • Added ChartPrint to the ChartScript® suite to enhance document printing capabilities.

  • Released ESA® (Electronic Signature Authentication) ­ allows physicians to sign ChartScript® documents electronically.
  • Opened West Coast office in San Francisco.

  • Added Digital Dictation System Interface (DDSI™) to integrate ChartScript® with leading dictation systems.

  • Launched ChartScript® — allows management review of transcription status, document distribution and productivity information.
  • Released ChartID for master patient indexing.

  • Released ChartReserve® to add reservations capabilities to the Chart Management product suite.
